George James Construction is a local construction company based in Wantage, Oxfordshire, with over 25 years' experience in the industry. Specialising in extensions and structural alterations, we also cover all aspects of domestic and commercial building works.

All subcontractors used are fully qualified in their own field. We have a trusted customer base, with many returning, as they receive high-quality work by trusted and skilled professionals.

We have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the industry that goes beyond the actual construction side of the business. We can carry out as much or as little of your project as you would like, bringing in architects and structural engineers from our own network whenever they are needed.

    Where your project needs drawings or structural calculations, we bring in architects and structural engineers from our own network, so everything is agreed before work starts.

    George and Jamie lead the work on site, with fully qualified subcontractors in every trade. We arrive when we say we will, carry out the work as agreed and keep your home as tidy as possible.

The team

George Lillies and Jamie Foster.

George and Jamie have worked together in the construction industry for 14 years. They are both qualified bricklayers by trade, but having spent most of their career within the general building sector, they have a very good understanding of what makes a good job and have the skillset to deliver it.

Between them they lead every job on site, from the first course of bricks to the final walk-round, with fully qualified subcontractors in every trade.
